The Ontario Government has recently announced new province-wide lockdown restrictions.

Health care is considered essential.  As such, Peak Chiro Plus is unaffected and remains open for in-person care.

We are operating with enhanced safety protocols in place so as to ensure the continued well-being of our patients, our staff and by association, our families and the community.



In keeping with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and of our Regulating bodies we have implemented the following changes:

  • Screening all staff & practitioners prior to entering the clinic for their shifts

  • Screening patients in-person before entering the clinic

  • We keep a updated Tracing Log with date, person screened and temperature reading

  • Adding plexiglass shield at reception desk

  • Offering touchless payment options (Direct billing, "Tap" Point of Sale Terminal, option to E-mail receipts)   

  • Ensuring hand sanitizer is readily available at entrances and throughout the clinic   

  • Limiting daily patient bookings to allow for physical distancing and for cleaning treatment rooms & equipment between appointments  

  • Ensure recommended physical distancing of all staff & regular washing of hands   

  • Removing all non-essential displays or reception/waiting area contents

  • Sanitizing all reception and common areas at least once every 3 hours

  • Sanitizing all treatment rooms & equipment between each patient visit

  • Requiring patients to wear a mask while at all time while in the clinic


REDUCE YOUR STRESS by following these Action Steps:

Practice Physical Distancing:

  • Go out to stores only if absolutely necessary (eg. Groceries)

  • While outside, avoid crowds and maintain a two-metre distance

  • When distancing is not possible, wear a surgical mask or other quality 3-layer face covering

Continue Practicing Good Hygiene:

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water

  • Cough or sneeze into your sleeve, not your hands

  • Keep hands away from your face (especially your eyes, nose and mouth)

Continue Boosting Your Immune System:

  • Eat nutrient-dense foods, including vegetables, beans and nuts

  • Get 7-8 hours of sleep per night

  • Get at least 20 minutes of low-to-moderate intensity exercise per day



Part of keeping well and decreasing stress levels includes SELF CARE.  This includes attention to diet, adequate sleep and exercise.  However, for many, this will eventually need to include hands-on, in-person care.  Rest assured that we are very serious in doing our part to ensure that both patients and our staff are afforded a safe place to interact.
