New Patients at Peak Chiro Plus
We know that beginning care with a new doctor can be stressful, and our goal at Peak Chiro Plus is to make the process as convenient and seamless as possible for you. Once you’ve booked your appointment, we’ll send you a welcome email to let you know exactly what to expect at your first appointment. This email will include your new patient paperwork, which you may complete online prior to your visit. You can also fill out the patient intake form by downloading it below.
Your First Visit
When you arrive, our friendly front desk staff will greet you with a smile and help you with any paperwork or insurance. Then you’ll meet with our chiropractor, Dr. Nick Fava, who will talk with you in depth about your health history and what’s prompted you to seek our care. He’ll take you on a quick tour of the clinic so you know where everything is and can see our other services.
Your tour will end in an exam room, where we’ll do a thorough examination. After the exam, Dr. Fava will explain what he found, what’s causing your pain or other symptoms and, in most cases, will offer to adjust you at this visit. In some instances, we may need additional information to determine if your situation is one that we can help with; in those cases, we may refer you out for X-rays or other imaging. If there are no contraindications and you choose to be adjusted at this visit, we will begin care right away.
Since we take our time to get to know you and determine the underlying cause of your problem, you can plan to be with us for 45 at this visit.
Paying for Care
When you call in, we’ll explain our fees and answer any specific questions about your insurance. We will direct-bill insurance when allowed. We don’t create care plans or require any contracts; you simply pay for the services provided at each visit.
